Very cold last night - David even slept in his pyjamas and his bed socks! And me my onesie! Packed up Priscilla after being on this site for 7 nights. Didn't even get a goodbye as the owners (2 sisters) were so miserable and never smiled or spoke to us! But - what a wonderful time we have had exploring this area. It will be hard to beat. Not far to our next stop - Interlaken. It was only 20kms away. We stopped at Lidl's to stock up but alas!!!!!! It was closed for renovations! We then stopped to put air in the tyres and the lead wouldn't reach! Arrived at Camping Alpenblick in Interlaken - very nice site but is more expensive than the other ones but we do get free buses. It also seems warmer as it is not in a valley so gets more sun (when it is out). Took the bus into Interlaken (free) and booked my hair appointment for Saturday (they couldn't do it any earlier :() haven't had it done for 4months and David thinks I am high maintenance!!! So I am a little bit excited! Had a quick look around Interlaken which looks really nice - lots of plant pots and nice hotels and loads of jewellers selling watches - and plenty of Japanese and Chinese tourists buying them! Watched heaps of paragliders landing in the park then did some shopping in the Co op - makes us feel poor shopping here as we are always looking for discounted items as it's sooooooo expensive! The price of meat is ridiculous!!!!! Got the bus back to our new campsite and relaxed sitting outside looking at all the info brochures deciding what to do.
