Jobs & a BBQ

Sun 9th March
Bright sunny day. We started the day doing some more jobs, David did a couple of rendering jobs while I sorted all the linen and craft items (apartment #4 was used during the winter by Jane Laura & friends making craft things to sell to raise money for the cat rescue society) to get the apartment ready to paint. Laura spent most of the day preparing gorgeous food for today’s BBQ. Jane & I went up the mountain to collect wood for the fire & BBQ. About 2 o’clock a lovely Scottish family arrived (Tam Sam & Tom) they have lived here for about 16 years having arrived in a converted ambulance and never left! They speak fluent Catalan and have renovated a house in Torroella that is 400 years old. Another friend Anna arrived and we enjoyed a get afternoon and evening chatting/drinking and eating. It got very cold so we stocked the BBQ up and sat around for hours - good fun.
