Today we started on a
high, all Jo’s hard work and patience had paid off and the monies had been
transferred to Dolphin Motorhomes (although still £12 short!!!!!!) so we could
finally picked up our motorhome and set off to Bridport. Did some shopping for
the trip including a 300 w pure sine wave inverter that Clive had recommended
so we can charge the laptop off the leisure batteries when parked up, this we
had to order so will be back through Christchurch next week to pick it up.
Turns out we have to call in at Val and Malcolm’s to pick up some items we left
behind anyway ( I think that Malcolm hid them on purpose so he could see us
again!!). After lunch we stored all our luggage in the motorhome and said our
goodbyes to Val and Malcolm (they have both been wonderful about all this and
can’t thank them enough, hope we can return the favour when, not if, they come
to Oz) Really enjoyed our drive down to Bridport even though it was raining and
windy, nice to be finally getting somewhere and experiencing the motorhome.
Another lovely welcome from Sheila and David (and of course the dogs) they were
out for the night ,but left us a lovely fish and chip meal.
