A better frame of mind & Burton Bradstock

Sun 2nd Feb 2014

The lovely get together last night helped to chill us out and put us back in a good frame of mind. Woke up to a very sunny day and had a good old chat on the telephone to home. Glad to hear all is ok in Australia and we are now really looking forward to seeing our Jess when she meets up with us soon in Spain (she may get there before us at the rate we are going!) Pam & Russ (Sheila’s sister & brother in law) came around to have a tour of our Motorhome (need a name for her as fed up with typing Motorhome - any suggestions-please email or Facebook) They loved it and gave just some good tips that we didn’t know about. It’s really not as easy as just buying a vehicle and driving off in it! (Wish it was). Spent the morning sorting out the Motorhome, putting things in place and making lists of things we still require. More of Sheila’s family arrived for a viewing then David and & set off on a walk with the dogs as it was such a beautiful day. We walked from West Bay up hills and through fields with magnificent views down into the gorgeous village of Burton Bradstock. Had a beer in The 3 Horseshoes pub then knocked on the door of Elise (Sheila & David’s friend who we met a few weeks ago when she came to dinner) We would have loved to take her up on her offer of tea but wanted to get back before it got dark as we were walking back along the top cliff path. Maybe we shouldn’t have chosen this route as it was quite scary in parts! Got back just as it got dark having walked approx. 6miles. Sheila had prepared a lovely meal that we shared with their friends Tracey & Kevin.
