After the worst night
ever!! The storm was crazy and very scary in Priscilla - thought the whole roof
was going to be ripped off! We had a lazy morning tidying and getting ready for
our Jess. Drove to Brockenhurst (lots of damage everywhere from last night’s
storm) and parked up as we still had an hour to kill before Jess’s train
arrived. Had a lovely walk but then the heavens opened and we got soaked! Got
to the station and there she was! So lovely to give her a huge cuddle after so
long. We made her a cup of hot chocolate in the station car park (because we
can) while she told us about her flight and all the news from home. She loves
Priscilla - no Jess you are not having our bed! Drove back to Val & Malcolm’s
via a few spots to show Jess before it got dark then settled in for the night
on their driveway and made dinner and all had an early night as we were all
exhausted. It is a bit “comfy” with the 3 of us in Priscilla!
