More Cotswolds and Bath

Left Cheltenham and drove to Westonbirt Arboretum.

We spent a The morning walking around many acres of so many species of trees that were first planted in 1875. Many locals were walking their dogs - it is great that dogs are aloud everywhere here.

Pork apple and sage sausage rolls.

Now we are in the village of Castle Combe.

Very pretty village but so many tourists so lucky to get photos without them.

The movie War Horse was filmed here.

Rodmarton Manor.

Corsham Court.

I actually had a wee on this toilet in this manor!

The bath house in the Corsham Court gardens.

David waiting for his horse to arrive.

Jess - stepping up in the world.

After here and visiting these wonderful places we then drove to our accommodation-what a come down! At a  Travelodge at a service station on the M4 Motorway! Near Chippenham. Living the dream 😜 Went for a pub meal down the road in Hullavington - very English ham egg and chips - delicious.

We spent all of Sunday in Bath. A very interesting and very busy place. These are The Roman Baths - it’s still school holidays here and the queue was a mile long and we have both been in before even though years ago.

Thought this was interesting next to the baths.

Again we were going to have a Bath Bun but the queue was too long.

Yes it’s Sunday and Jo has to have her Sunday Roast fix. Not disappointed in The Rising Sun.

The Circus

The Royal Crescent.

Stopped off in Bradford-on-Avon as we are in no rush to get back to our accommodation!

Cream tea - yum.

Off to Burnham in the morning as the weather is improving. Will try to get some walks along The Thames in and will visit Windsor.
