Monday 13th Jan
David B was at the Salon again
finishing off the tiling and wallpapering. Sheila David P & I drove into
Bridport town to do a bit of shopping. David went to the Museum but it was
closed much to his disappointment. We then drove a short way to the beautiful
village of Burton Bradstock - drove around as the weather was still really bad
and stopped for lunch at the seaside café The Hive and they had a power cut! Back
to The West Bay for some lunch. Back at the house we did some research on
London as we want to spend a few days there soon. David & I took the 3 dogs
for a walk down The Bay (5pm-pitch dark!). Sheila cooked us another gorgeous
meal. More fantastic hosts - we have some great friends. Hope to get to bed
early as not organised for our trip back to Harpenden in the morning yet (to
take the car back). It’s go go go for The Parsons!!!!
