Had a great sleep-David
& Sheila have a lovely cosy home and have made us feel very welcome. Sheila
went off to work so David B David P and I took the 3 dogs for a 2 and a half
hour walk. We went down to West Bay (where Broadchurch was filmed-loved that
programme) it was cold but clear and not raining! I hung some washing out and 6 hours later it was wetter than when I had put it out and it hadn't been raining!!!!!!!!!!! It was a great walk I had
forgotten how gorgeous it was down here. Back home for homemade soup then off
to Sheila’s sister Pam & husband Russ. We last saw them when they stayed at
Mum & Dad’s B&B in Mindarie Australia. They have a lovely home on a
stream and Russ showed us his glass collection - most were 2-3 hundred years
old! We had a look at their lovely new campervan - fantastic but not big enough
for us for the length of time we are thinking of. Back home we met David &
Sheilas friend Tracy (she also has a dog-Poppy) so now there were 4 dogs in the
house! We all then walked down to The West Bay Hotel with the dogs (and saw Santa
go by). Back at the house we had another lovely homemade dinner and Gary (their
son) arrived with wife Sharon & daughter Abby.
