Our 25th Wedding Anniversary

Our 25^th Wedding Anniversary today. So 25 years ago today we were on Heron Island on The Great barrier Reef! David had booked us into a B&B for tonight in Mudeford within walking distance to the pub where he proposed to me (in the car park!). So off we set from Bridport and went via Lane House Motors (David & Sheila’s son-in-law Heath manages it) to fix our windscreen wash problem. Turned out that the problem was David! He was pressing the wrong knob!!!!!!!!! Arrived in Poole to look at The Adria motorhome we had seen before (still quite like it). Onto Bournemouth (which we found very busy) and called into see Claire & Martin who had visited us in Australia in 2011. It was nice to see them again and see their house which they intend to rent out as they have also bought a house in Florida. Onto Christchurch where we had a look at another Motorhome Dealer may go back tomorrow to see one of interest a Pilote Adventura. Arrived at our B&B Waters Edge in Mudeford http://www.watersedgebandbchristchurch.com/  owners were out! So we drove to the pub on the end of The Quay to meet Clive & Janet (New Milton relation) who had a surprise for our Wedding Anniversary! And what a surprise as you can see from the pictures! It was lovely of them to go to all that effort. Went back to the B&B and checked in (gorgeous accommodation). Straight back out again and walked to the pub for our 1^st English Fish & Chips-huge £7.95 each. Met a lovely couple with 2 Boxer dogs who have invited us to join them in The Dordogne Tremolat in France in August for a curry night if we are in the area!!!!!!!!!?????????????? This trip is getting longer by the minute (sorry Mum)! Walked home in the pitch black and wind and fell into a lovely comfy bed!!!!!!!! Say no more! Well it was our Anniversary!!!!!!!
