First picture today is the view from Priscilla with the morning sun lighting up the mountains. Kept our pitch at La Viorna just outside Potes(by leaving our tables and chairs) and drove 25kms up the road to Fuente De. We then took the cable car to the top of the mountain ! Which wasn't as scary as it looked from the ground. Stepped out at the top and OMG! WOW. Brilliant sunshine and a magnificent panorama. We had packed a picnic but decided to walk the 3.5km to a Hotel that stood on its own right in the middle of the mountain for a meal. Fantastic walk most of it being down hill so we knew it was going to be a hard walk back. The meal was great but size wise maybe too much for what was ahead of us! We resisted the option of a 4wd taxi. It was Very steep on the way back and we were very proud of our Jess as she is not a walker and even we struggled. We sang the song from The Sound of Music -The Hills are Alive for your birthday Margaret (David's mum). Got the cable car back down to Priscilla and drove back to our pitch - to would you believe a shower of rain. But ended the evening with blue sky again and nearly dry washing.
