Woke up to brilliant sunshine (forecast said rain!) , stillness and oh so quiet. Left Finisterre and on the road by 10.30am. Took the main freeways and toll roads as wanted to get some miles in. Came through some very green and fertile land. Had a quick coffee stop at a service station. Again lots of wind turbines. After going inland for a while we then headed back to the coast (north) and found a golden (best) Aires right on the estuary and within walking distance to a wonderful beach and town. Kids were kayaking in front if us and we were lines up with about 15 other motorhomes (but plenty of room). What we thought were Germans next to us turned out to be a couple of Kiwis who Motorhome swap and have done for the past 5 years. After a sit in the sun trying to get some sun on Jess! We then walked around the beach(was gorgeous and the tide went right out) and town and had some drinks & Tapas as we couldn't find a restaurant that opened before 8.30pm!!!! One man even had a beautiful grey &Fred parrot with him! Back to Priscilla for a cuppa and some chocolate.
