It's a weird feeling for both of us at the moment because we are seeing the same places and people as we did at the beginning of our trip and in the same sort of weather - so it's hard to believe that we have really done all that in between!!!!
Sorted out all our stuff again! We have so much luggage and we are defiantly going to be over weight! Val and Malcolm gave us beautiful leaving gifts. A lovely necklace for me and a world globe Christmas bauble for David (how appropriate). So again we had to say our goodbyes - it was very upsetting but we know one day they will come to see us in Australia as we all get on so well. Let's just hope it's not another 30 years before we see each other again! What wonderful friends we have as another Mike from Harpenden picked us up as we are going to stay with him and wife Liz until we leave for home next week. The M25 motorway was slow in spots but got into Harpenden at about 4.30pm. Made Mike & Liz's house look like a bomb had hit it too then David & I walked to the Co-Op and got some wine and beer and bought dinner to cook as Liz was still at work. Mike lit a lovely fire and again it felt like we had never left! A lovely evening catching up.
