Purchases for our new home

Tues 4th Feb 2014

A Very relaxing evening!
David had a frustrating morning on the phone trying to talk to someone (that was not a recorded message!) regarding his speeding fine! A few hours later with no luck we set off for Bridport Police Station to see if anyone there could help. With advice given we headed off in the Motorhome to Charmouth to a Caravan & Motorhome shop where we found things we needed were in stock! We loaded up with a new Webber Baby Q (same as we had at home) 2 recliner outdoor chairs, an outdoor table and lots of other bits and pieces. We then stopped by Louise at The Salon in Charmouth and David B gave David P another haircut to keep him going. We said our goodbyes and hopefully we will see them in Kos in July. Back home to West Bay for lunch then David & I went shopping again then stopped at Lanehouse (Heath’s Vauxhall garage in Bridport) for some deflector stickers positioned on the M/home headlights (which you have to have for Europe) everyone has been so helpful. David B has a bike in his garage that he hasn’t used for 12 years so David P had a play with that and we may buy it. Tracked online the status of our Australian International Drivers Licences and not sure where they are at this moment!!!!! We then booked up site accommodation in The New Forest (it’s called Sandy Balls!!!!!!) for tomorrow and the day after so we can get used to living/using and sleeping in our new home (sleeping in it for the first time tomorrow night!!!!) Exciting!! We will be leaving Bridport tomorrow going via Christchurch to pick up the manual (that we left at Val’s!) and the inverter that we ordered. Lots of sorting out has been done in the Motorhome with all the cupboards getting organised (that’s the bit I like).  Sheila prepared another great meal and had a relaxing last evening together.
He's a naughty naughty boy!

On the road to Charmouth
