Off towards Portugal - Tues

Tues 15th July 2014
Packed up Priscilla, emptied the loo and filled up with water. Set off through Sevilla and got on the motorway heading towards Portugal. Busy road - we normally take the small roads but today this will be quicker and more direct as very hot. Had to pull over on the motorway (was a bit scary) as drivers side wing mirror fell out and was hanging! Managed to pop it back in and set off again. Good road all the way into Portugal over the bridge and drove through the tourist info booths, what a great idea this is - he welcomed us to Portugal and asked if we needed Any information he was a very friendly English speaking Portuguese. First stop was LPG gas (only needed 12 euro and haven't filled up for months) in Monte Gordo. Then drove along to Tavira and after a while found a Lidl to stock up. Very strange to hear another language - thought we had landed in Russia!! The Portuguese language sounds similar. Headed off again to find a campsite. We are now on the Algarve following the coast.    Found a campsite by 4.30pm at Olhao. Discovering  a new country is so tiring that after settIng up Priscilla and having a few beers we both had to have a nanny nap! Both of us feel exhausted so may take it easy for the next few days. The site is ginormous - the biggest we have been on. Had a lovely salmon salad and chatted to neighbours from Germany on Harley Davidson bikes. They are here with people from all over the world for a bike and music concert in Faro. Sat outside all evening listening to music then watched another episode of Games of Thrones. We have now gained an hour so Perth is now 7 hours ahead of us.
