We weren't woken up early as we thought we would have been being in such close proximity to our Portuguese neighbours. It is another one of those campsites that have a lot of permanent vans on site that are used at weekends and holiday time. We passed on some brochures and map information to a nice Dutch couple (Renee & Jill) who have just arrived in Portugal. Walked to the beach and along the wooden boardwalk. It's a very shabby poor looking fishing village but the locals all seem happy and are friendly. We both said, as much as we like it, it is the worst looking place we have been to since being away! Went back to Priscilla for lunch then grabbed our books and bathers and spent the afternoon on the beach. Even though it was very overcast it was still warm. Left the beach and I decided to shower and hair wash in Priscilla as the site showers were timed!! As forecast, which is very unusual for this time of year, it started raining! Very fine misty rain. We joked with the local Portuguese about the weather and cooked an appropriate meal of steak & sausages on the BBQ with Yorkshire puddings veg & gravy. All washed down again with a Portuguese red. Early to bed with a movie as getting the train into Porto tomorrow (maybe in our rain coats!!!!)
