Left Alan & Hetty to do the breakfast service this morning and David & I loaded up Priscilla for a few days in Granada. Set off about 11.30am and were soon in new territory. As we got closer to Granada we could see snow on the top of the Sierra Nevada mountains! Cannot believe it as it is so hot! Arrived at campsite Alto De Vinuelas in Beas De Granada at about 1.30pm. Set up camp and got the awing out for the first time. The site has a lovely pool and views of the Sierra Nevada mountains. The bus stop is right outside for our trip tomorrow into Granada to visit Alhambra and meet up with Hope (HelpX American). Had a relaxing afternoon sitting outside Priscilla reading all about the area. Made dinner - pan fried garlic chicken with Moroccan cous cous. Early evening we walked down into the town of Beas De Granada to a supermarket to get provisions. Inside there was a small pretty bird flying around. It kept landing on David (he's always had a knack of attracting the birds! The town is small but we have left some of it to explore another day. Lovely balmy evening sitting outside and enjoying a different location.
A narrow track but beautiful scenery
It was so hot but look! Snow still on the mountains! 2 motorhomes in front of us.
