A day off today so David Hope & I set off on a walk. We walked from the hotel to Fuente Amarga to Pastelero then onto Villanueva de Concepcion. |
We passed many olive and almond trees. |
The views are amazing here (Iknow I keep saying that but they really are). |
More poppies just starting to come out |
We passed a goat farm |
This is the village of Fuente Armaga. 18 houses and 16 off them are owned by British people (apparently they all argue! |
Looking looking looking - it can make your eyes sore! |
Our first stop after about 3kms Pastelero - a few houses and 2 restaurants. We had coffee and a rest. |
Pastelero where we had coffee |
Off the track now and walking on the road. |
Villanueva de Concepcion in the distance - about 6kms away. |
Villanueva de Concepcion for a well earned beer. We had walked for about 3 hours |
We called Alan & Hetty and they drove to meet us for lunch. Avocado & mango salad then we had prawns pil-pil |
That's not a snake!!!!! |
We cut off a corner on the way back through a just plouged field. David & Hope being silly. |
We walked about 14kms in all and it was a great day. Jumped in the pool when we got back then fell asleep! Had a very quiet evening then early to bed. |
