Up
early to catch the bus into Nerja and meet up with Mike and Liz. Today was
overcast so the look of the water and sky wasn’t up to the previous visit, but
was still lovely to see other parts of the town. We headed to the beach area in
a different cove and had a delicious fresh fish meal overlooking the water.
Ended up being a long lunch, eating, drinking, chatting and enjoying the
outlook. Sat on the beach for a while watching a few brave souls have a dip,
too cold for us though. Although Nerja is beautiful we were told that it is too
busy in the summer, but the place certainly has a great feel to it. Walked back
into the town for a couple of wines before getting the bus home at 8.15 (where
does the day go??) Said our goodbyes to Mike and Liz (they waved us off from
the bus stop), who return to the UK tomorrow, it was really good to catch up
with them again and also be able to converse in English for a while, we had a
good time with them and enjoyed a good many laughs. Hopefully they will meet up
with us somewhere else in Europe before we have to return to the UK to MOT
Priscilla.
