David
was feeling a lot better today and his first task was to unload a trailer load
of wood that Alan had purchased yesterday. I helped with the usual breakfast and
cleaned 2 rooms while the guest were eating. Only 2 couples here at the moment
(Belgium & Dutch). David started high pressure hosing the whole of our
house as it all needs painting (white). It had started raining and it just
poured and poured. I was shown how the washing machines and dryer worked down
in the basement of the hotel so got our washing on the go then hung all the
quilts covers and sheets up to dry. I then did a big batch of ironing - very
Wizard Wongs’!!! David had got so wet he then had a nice soak in a very hot
bath. Alan cooked the meal tonight so
another great recipe has been noted. A cod fish dish all in the oven - it was
amazing.
